Motivation

I am motivated by the inevitability of change.  I believe we can improve our capacity to manage life's challenges through increased awareness of our relationships with and reactions to change.  Counselling and Supervision encourage insight, new perspectives, and provide guidance towards living a life based on your values and integration of your whole self.   Counselling can help uncover the conditions for healing and help you learn how to create or maintain these conditions in your life.

My work is integrative, combining a variety of modalities to meet the needs of my clients.  I come from a feminist, Buddhist, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive foundation.  My primary modalities include compassion-focused therapies, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, narrative, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

To provide compassionate quality counselling, where individuals are able to unite their sense of self with well-being, clarity, compassion, and purpose.
